Robert Craig Baum (RCB) is a philosopher, writer, media expert, Master Teacher, Faculty Fellow (www.egs.edu), and producer (music, television, video on demand, and theatre). He is the author of Itself and Thoughtrave. As the founding Executive Producer for N1Entertainment and the soon-to-be-incorporated, KatalinaW, Inc. he supervises independent and major media projects crossing comedy, horror, drama, musical, and dark satire genres. He began his theatre career at Dartmouth College as a Masters student with the late August Wilson, the two time Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright whose work, especially his 20th century cycle, earned him the title "Broadway's Bard of Black Life" (NPR). He went on to renew the August Wilson Fellowship in Literary Criticism and Dramaturgy (University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and Penumbra Theatre). He currently works as literary manager and dramaturg for Laurie Carlos and Dennis Moritz. He holds degrees from Catholic University (BA, Philosophy), Dartmouth College (MA, Liberal Studies), and the European Graduate School (PhD in Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Arts/Communications). His forthcoming work includes the novella Smile, the television pilot Campu$ (with Brianne Bolin, contributor to Thoughtrave), Executive Producing a national music series at Freight House Hall in White River Junction, VT, and launching new product lines with friends and colleagues in fashion, cosmetics, academic publishing, and food distribution. He lives on Long Island with his wife and four boys.
